“There is a stigma” – a Covid-19 survivor speaks
South Africa has more coronavirus cases than any other African country, with more than 520,000 confirmed infections so far. More than 8,860 people have died from the virus there, but Ncumisa Fandesi-Ndelu from Durban survived her ordeal. She told Focus on Africa about what getting ill was like, and about the stigma attached to those who have had the virus.
