Covid-19 inspires a new line of African prints
One of Ghana's top fabric companies has designed a set of special coronavirus prints as a way to memorialise the pandemic. Textiles Ghana Limited, better known by its former name GTP, produces popular African prints. Their latest inspiration comes from the Covid-19 crisis, for example, some designs are of padlocks and keys and portray the lockdown.
The new line is a way of capturing these extraordinary times and marketing director, Stephen Badu, says they are telling stories through the designs.
