Tanzania's rapper MP to sue over banned song
Tanzanian MP Joseph Mbilinyi, popularly known as MC Sugu, says he will sue the government for banning his rap song about the state of prisons.
The opposition MP wrote the song after spending time in jail for for allegedly defaming President John Magufuli.
Basata, the Kiswahili acronym for the country's arts council, announced the ban, saying that the song used words that could "incite public violence".
