Goma: Fighting negative perceptions through fashion
The town of Goma, in east of the Democratic Republic of Congo has been portrayed by some aid organisations as the world's capital of rape. Mapendo Sumuni, a Congolese art lover embarked on the journey to challenge this stereotype about the region that has been ravaged by war since the past two decades. She spoke to the BBC's Gaïus Kowene about promoting local fashion and paintings.
