Meeting a woman held captive for 30 years by her father
Katy Morgan-Davies was kept in captivity for 30 years by her Maoist cult father, Aravindan Balakrishnan.
She called a number she saw on the BBC 6 o’clock News and reached Yvonne Hall, Managing Director of the Palm Cove Society and Special Advisor to the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner Kevin Hyland.
Yvonne was the first person Katy met when she escaped the cult’s house.
Speaking on the programme Yvonne Hall told Nick Robinson what it was like waiting to see her on that day.
