Owls use 'stealth technology' to capture prey
Owls use what scientists and engineers are calling ‘stealth technology’ to help them capture prey, new research suggests.
If owls can fly more quietly maybe aeroplanes can as well, said Dr Helen Czerski, a physicist at UCL.
“Anything that’s got wings could be a lot quieter if you can understand this technology,” Dr Czerski told Today.
