Labour ‘has lost core values’
The Labour party “has lost core values and promotes market competition”, said Dave Ward, deputy general secretary of the Communication Workers’ Union.
Mr Ward stood by his controversial claim that Blairites were "a virus" in the Labour Party.
But if Jeremy Corbyn was elected Labour’s leader, the party would be out of power for 15 years, said Sir Ken Jackson, former general secretary of the Amicus group.
"I don't know what Labour can do for working people when they are in permanent opposition," he said.
