Pirate radio of the 1980s
The ICA has just launched a new exhibition to look back at the pirate radio renaissance of the early 1980s.
Stations broadcasted music from the roofs of residential tower blocks and tended to celebrate black culture.
Lindsay Wesker presented on Kiss FM and Elayne Smith presented on LWR.
