The Face of World War One

On Friday 7 November, the BBC unveiled a giant commemorative mosaic on the piazza outside BBC Broadcasting House in central London, to remember how the efforts of those during World War One have shaped the face of today. Artist Helen Marshall was commissioned by BBC Local Radio to produce this ambitious project as a way of commemorating the First World War in a digital age.
