Half of UK population 'will get cancer in lifetime'
Many of us know someone who has been affected by cancer.
New research suggests that by 2020, half of us will get the disease at some point in our lives.
MacMillan Cancer Support says the rise in cases will put huge pressure on the NHS adding more services need to be put in place now, to help survivors.
Breakfast’s Graham Satchell spoke to recovering cancer patient Barbara Falconer about her experience and in the studio Louise Minchin and Charlie Stayt spoke to Ciarán Devane, the Chief Executive of Macmillan Cancer Support.
