Riot interviews: Aston Walker - award-winning film maker
40-year-old Aston Walker, a father of three teenage children and an independent film-maker, talks to Ray Furlong about his arrest for looting during the August 2011 riots and his "shame and embarrassment" at being sent to prison.
He had gone into central Birmingham in the small hours of 10 August to film the desolation after a night of rioting. But a smashed shop window proved too tempting and he helped himself to hundreds of pounds worth of clothes. Ten minutes later he was wearing handcuffs.
