Spotlight on: Kath Hughes

Kiri Pritchard-McLean chats to comedy actor Kath Hughes about her stratospheric rise from gigging in rooms above pubs with a sketch group, to performing with Renée Zellweger in "Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy". Kath has been in everything, from "After Life" to "Death Valley", Sam Campbell's Channel 4 comedy "Make That Movie", and ITV psychological thriller "The Party" opposite Luke Evans. Kath tells Kiri how she started out in a theatre group in Mold as a shy child with a huge love of comedy, explains how she now deals with sight reading as an actor with dyslexia, and shares the surreal experience of being celebrated by Bill Nighy on set.

Kiri's Comedy Club is a Little Wander production for BBC Radio Wales.
