Episode 1

Dave and Owen bust a city centre drug dealer carrying cash and cocaine. The vehicle crime team chase a careless driver, and officers separating a street brawl face a torrent of abuse.

The Peelers are back. While patrolling Belfast city centre, Dave and Owen stop a suspected drug dealer. They find a wad of cash and cocaine. The suspect claims he is a drug user struggling with addiction and, from the back of a cell, tells Stephen about his life. But when speaking to the custody sergeant, he lets slip a crucial detail that confirms Dave’s suspicions.

Next, reports come in of two men fighting on the street – each claiming to be the victim. After speaking to eyewitnesses and CCTV operators, Anna brings both into custody. On the way, one of the men launches a torrent of abuse at the Peelers.

In west Belfast, the vehicle crime team – Dennis and Chris - are on shift and notice a car being driven erratically round a bend. When stopped, the driver, who is known to the team, tries to charm his way out of trouble.
