Owain's 4 Nations Cycle Challenge, Day 1 Part 1

Sara's got her air horn ready to get Owain Wyn Evans started on day 1 of his 4 Nations Cycle Challenge for BBC Children in Need.

All for this year's Children In Need appeal, Owain is cycling through all four UK nations – that’s Four Hundred Miles of testing terrain, which makes it the furthest route any of our Radio 2 challengers has ever faced!

Take Owain with you on the BBC Sounds app, or ask your smart speaker to play Radio 2, so you don’t miss a second.

You can also catch-up with the story so far, follow Owain’s progress via our live tracker and live blog and find out how to make a donation at bbc.co.uk/owain

And for all the behind the scenes action head to BBC Radio 2 on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. And don’t forget the hashtag #OwainCIN

To listen on most smart speakers, just say: "Ask BBC Sounds to play Sara Cox.”
