The last of a five-part conversation between Neil Dudgeon and Ralph Fiennes. Here they talk about directing for theatre and opera.

The last of a five-part conversation with Ralph Fiennes - Shakespearean actor, Hollywood A-lister, film director and actor manager.

Quickly establishing his name in film, Fiennes has successfully mixed work on the big franchises with less mainstream projects. As well as covering some of Fiennes’ landmark performances in theatre and film, we hear about what motivated him to become an actor, his training at RADA and a life spent amongst writers, directors and fellow actors. Fiennes remarkable career is manifested in snapshots, revealing his passions, his love of actors, and a monk-like devotion to his art.

An Actor's Life takes us behind the scenes, giving insights into what it's really like to be in rehearsal, on stage and on set.

A contemporary at RADA, and still a close friend, Neil Dudgeon is an enthusiast for acting history, as well as an actor whose career has its own fascinating trajectory.
