Young people in India and France take to the streets to put their governments on notice.
Protests in India and France by the under 30s have stirred authorities this week with differing local issues, but similar generational complaints. Enabled by social media, protests by Gen Z have toppled governments and forced change, but many have fizzled out too. We hear from India, Nepal and Morocco – and ask whether this ‘youthquake’ differs from street protests we have seen before.
