PRICES AT THE PUMP
More than half a million adults in Scotland are facing fuel insecurity, according to new research from the University of Aberdeen. This comes at the same time as diesel prices hitting an all-time high of 199.33p per litre, according to the RAC motoring organisation. Petrol prices are also still rising, with a litre currently costing 174.23p.

A proposal has been put forward to rename Glasgow Airport during a Renfrewshire Council meeting. Independent councillor Andy Doig proposed an amendment to launch a public consultation on renaming the airport and said that his personal choice would be the Gerry Rafferty International Airport.
