Co-founder Atul Gawande makes the Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of Lifebox Foundation. The charity works with healthcare teams around the world to analyse risks to patients and provide solutions, like strengthening infection prevention, improving safety practices like checklists, or providing equipment.

The Radio 4 Appeal features a new charity every week.
Each appeal then runs on Radio 4 from Sunday 0754 for 7 days.
