Accused: France's mass drugging case

A French civil servant stands accused of drugging hundreds of women and forcing them to wet themselves. Prosecutors allege senior official Christian Nègre slipped diuretics into women’s drinks during job interviews at the Ministry of Culture, before taking them on long walks far from toilets. Police say Nègre kept a spreadsheet documenting his attacks which he labelled ‘experiments’. But more than eight years after Nègre was placed under investigation, no trial date has been set. Woman’s Hour presenter Nuala McGovern reports for BBC Global Women. She spoke to women affected, who say the delays to justice have left them feeling victimised for a second time.
