Linda Perry and remembering when Dolly rocked...

Linda Perry burst onto the 90s music scene with 4 Non Blondes but it was what she did next that really set her off on a stratospheric career path. Producing huge albums for the likes of Courtney Love, Joan Jett and Pink, she became an incredible force in the industry.

She's now going back to her own songwriting roots, with her latest album 'Let It Die Here'. Linda chooses her Rock God for Shaun and safe to say she's chosen another female force to be reckoned with!

Shaun also pays tribute to Dolly Parton's rock 'n' roll roots. Dolly's death has hit the whole music world hard. She not only influenced country but pop and rock were also high on her agenda. Her 2023 album, 'Rock Star' was a collaboration record, featuring the likes of Judas Priest's Rob Halford and even Paul McCartney.
