Three teams, one beach, six hours to build the ultimate sandcastle. Who will sculpt to glory before the tide washes it all away in the grand final?
Join host Iain Stirling for the most nail-biting episode yet – a celebration of skill, teamwor, and sheer determination.
It all began with seven hopeful pairs of newbies, their pros and a beach full of promises. Now, only one team will triumph before Mother Nature wipes the slate clean...
St Andrews’ stunning West Sands becomes the sandy beach battleground as three teams of sand-sculpting hopefuls face their toughest challenge yet. Our finalists – Athena and Rachel, Shane and Lisa, and Yusuf and Johannes – have just six hours to create the most ambitious sculptures of their lives before the North Sea sweeps in one last time to claim their masterpieces.
Fittingly, the theme is Ultimate Sandcastles – a test of skill, creativity and resilience. Judges Sadie and Jamie are demanding height, arches, spiral staircases and that elusive wow factor. But will our sculptors play it safe or push boundaries to deliver something truly spectacular?
Expect drama, collapses, creative differences and plenty of emotion.
As the tide races in, tension hits fever pitch. Tools clash, tempers flare and every second counts. Who will sculpt their way to glory and claim the title of Race Against the Tide Ultimate Sand Champions?
