Stravinsky's Petrushka from the BBC Proms

Elizabeth Alker introduces highlights from the BBC Proms, including ballet music from Stravinsky's Petrushka and Copland's BIlly the Kid, performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and conductor Ryan Bancroft. They will also be performing Karol Symanowski's choral masterpiece, his Stabat mater, inspired by Mary's words at the Cross. Plus more from the Venice Baroque Orchestra concert at the Edinburgh International Festival, and we visit the Alhambra Palace in Granada for a performance of Mozart's Symphony No. 39 from the Orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and conductor Zubin Mehta.
