Episode 2

The week’s heats continue in full swing, with the five celebrities facing two more culinary challenges as they battle for a place in this week's quarter-final.

First up is the return of the mystery box challenge in which the celebrities find an ingredient, and they have just one hour to invent and cook a dish with it. They must use all their imagination, knowledge and skill to create something special.

Then, for the first time in their heat, they have to cook to stay in the competition, and won’t just be trying to impress Grace and Giorgio. This crucial round is called Who’s Coming to Dinner?, with a special guest setting a culinary brief for the contestants. This week sees Paddy McGuinness enter the MasterChef kitchen, and he’s looking for the ultimate pie. But what will win him over? Classic and traditional, or something with a twist?

Everything will need to be on point, as at the end of this task, one celebrity will be the first to head home. The four remaining will be counting their lucky stars as they head into this year’s first quarter-final and become one step closer to their dream of being crowned Celebrity MasterChef Champion 2026.
