From next Wednesday, buy now pay later lenders will have to operate within strict new rules. Changes include affordability checks for the first time and they'll also have to offer the same section 75 consumer protections that come with credit cards. We hear from a listener who has experienced problems in the past with buy now pay later. Peter Tutton is the director of policy at the debt charity Step Change - he explains whether the changes will mean better protections against that happening in the future. We also hear from Dave Jones head of UK Consumer at PayPal, it operates an online payment system with buy now pay later options.
