“I had to google what a transistor radio was!”

Roisin learns how Sean used to listen to music on street corners.

“I remember when we were younger,” Sean says, “and we had transistor radios. I remember one Sunday night standing at the end of our street, listening to Tossing and Turning by The Ivy League. We thought it was the greatest song ever. But the batteries on the transistor radio were running down and every so often the music would fade out.”
“I had to google to hear what a transistor radio was,” Roisin says.
“Yes,” Sean says. “You’re now well-informed. We walked around with them held up to our ears.”
