Uruguay v Cape Verde

Live coverage as World Cup debutants Cape Verde play their second match in Group H, taking on former winners Uruguay in Miami.

Cape Verde, a group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean with a population of just over 500,000, finished top of their qualifying group, beating Cameroon along the way. The Blue Sharks have twice reached the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Uruguay, winners of the inaugural tournament in 1930, are managed by former Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa and qualified for a fourth consecutive World Cup, beating Brazil and Argentina in the process. They are captained by Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde.
