Tina Daheley discusses the prime minister's apology for historical forced adoptions, a doorbell camera helps to save a life, livestock theft on farms and the award-winning 21st Century Folk returns to Radio 2. To mark a summer of events including the FIFA World Cup, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, the Commonwealth Games, Wimbledon Championships and more, this year’s theme is sport. Five people with powerful stories from the world of sport inspire new folk songs which are performed live. Tina speaks to Jonathan Doku, a passionate runner on the streets of Glasgow, whose story is the basis of a new song by Eddi Reader and John Douglas.

Produced by BBC Audio for BBC Radio 2.
