This week, Classical Live presents exclusive live recordings from some of the best youth orchestras in Europe; we’ll also hear performances by some of the brilliant young musicians currently enrolled in the BBC New Generation Artists scheme, in a recent season of lunchtime concerts at St George’s Bristol.
We finish the week with the European Union Youth Orchestra, which has members drawn from the 27 members states of the European Union, and their performance of Don Quixote Op.35 by Richard Strauss. We’ll also hear more from BBC Radio 3 New Generation artists Julius Asal and the NOVO Quartet.
