Beechgrove Garden is full of information for gardeners across the country who have to cope with the colder climates of the UK.

Lizzie Schofield and Brian Cunningham are finally putting in the ground varieties that won't survive a frost. The garden just outside Aberdeen has had some cold nights, but now it looks like it’s safe to plant out those tender varieties.

In a warmer environment, Lizzie is checking on her tomatoes. This year, she is comparing hybrid and heritage varieties, and both need some attention right now to maximise their productivity.
