Patrick's parents are in town for his surprise party, but the parents end up with an even bigger surprise, while Alexis drags Moira to a soap opera convention.
David plans a surprise party for Patrick, and invites his parents to town. Johnny and David soon discover Patrick hasn’t been entirely truthful with his parents about his life in Schitt’s Creek, and Johnny accidentally lets some of it slip. Alexis drags Moira to a local soap opera convention to make a quick buck. Moira finds the whole experience humiliating, until she sees a familiar face from her soap days.
