The UK Government has set about tackling the cost of living. The Chancellor is announcing a package of measures including a cut to tariffs on imported food and scrapping a planned rise in fuel duty. Meanwhile, the Financial Times says there's been a backlash over reports the UK Government considered asking supermarkets to cap prices on essentials like milk and eggs. So, we’re talking cost of living - what do you want them to do?

Southampton FC has apologised to fans, players, and the wider football community after admitting allegations of spying on three other teams. The EFL charged the Saints with watching training sessions involving Oxford United and Ipswich Town, in addition to filming Middlesbrough as they prepared for the first leg of their play-off semi-final. Phil Parsons, the club's chief executive, said that "What happened was wrong", but still the club appealed the punishment which has since been rejected.
