Episode 3

A four-part comedy drama written by Lynne Truss, starring Jane Asher.

Susan is determined that for just 30-minutes each week she will sit down and enjoy her favourite TV show 'Mrs Milliner', set in the world of hat selling.

But every time she settles down to watch, somebody or something stops her - in this episode, she is yet again interrupted, this time by a rather forceful charity worker.

Meanwhile, the dynamic Mrs Milliner has secured a contract to be the sole provider of boaters for the 1928 British Olympic team, but to her annoyance most of the straw workers have been imprisoned after a general strike.
