Resilience and Endeavour

An exceptional 628-nautical-mile offshore challenge, the 2024 edition of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race proved to be one of the most difficult and poignant in the event's history. Following the spectacular 26 December start in Sydney Harbour, the 100-strong fleet, crewed by skilled and experienced professionals and amateurs, faced arduous sailing conditions as it headed south, negotiating the notorious Bass Strait, en route to the finish in Hobart, Tasmania. The film recounts the extraordinary resilience and human endeavour of those who took part.
