It was meant to the be the year the travel and tourism bounced back after the pandemic sent it into its largest crisis in history, but with Covid restricting China's travellers, spiralling fuel costs, a cost of living crisis and a war in Ukraine, the road to recovery for this vital industry could hardly be less bumpy.
