Oscars Preview Special

Talking Movies reports from Los Angeles previewing the Oscars ceremony. The team will be hearing from top contenders including New Zealand filmmaker Jane Campion nominated for directing The Power of the Dog - and Sir Kenneth Branagh whose film Belfast has seven nominations. There will also be a special report on the ceremony itself and how for the first time three women - Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall - will be hosting the event. In addition deaf actors and stories figure prominently in this year's Academy Awards race and the Talking Movies team will be reporting on how - as a result - Hollywood may more eagerly embrace portrayals of deaf people in the future.
