Robert Harris
Episode 8 of 14
The UK's bestselling authors discuss their new work, their ideas and being an author. Razia Iqbal asks Robert Harris how much the New Labour era has informed his fiction.
Before Tony Blair published his memoirs, the best selling author Robert Harris had already written the bestseller Ghost, the story of a ghost writer employed to work on the memoirs of a fictional British Labour Prime Minister. Harris was a journalist before turning to history, ancient and modern, to dissect the workings of power in his political thrillers. Razia Iqbal asks him how much the New Labour era has informed his fictional work.
