1. How did you get into radio?

I got a phone call from the boss at BBC Oxford asking if I would like to be the new travel presenter, and the rest as they say is history!

2. What was your first broadcast?

I co-presented with Bill Heine just before my morning debut.

3. What other jobs have you done besides broadcasting?

I spent 25 years in the Royal Navy (21 years in submarines) and 15 years as a Thames Valley police officer, 11 of which were as a traffic cop.

6. Which person would you most enjoy being stuck in a lift with?

Anyone intelligent.

7. If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?

Give most of it away to good causes, family and friends.

8. What is your worst habit?

Smoking.
