Robin Hood's stables are hidden just outside Papplewick, near to the King's Great Way.

Originally, they were probably a hermitage that has been dug out over the years. In the original Robin Hood legend Robin Hood doesn't ride a horse at all. That's left for Errol Flynn and Kevin Costner.
