Beijing 2008 Olympics

We salute you!

Your messages of congratulations to Nottinghamshire's Olympians.

Nottinghamshire's Olympians have been outperforming all expectations in Beijing.

Mansfield's Rebecca Adlington took a historic gold in the women's 400m freestyle. She became Britain's first female Olympic swimming champion in 48 years.

Nottingham-based David Florence secured Britain's first silver medal of the Beijing Olympics in the men's slalom canoe.

While Newark-born horse rider Mary King, helped Britain's three-day eventing team take the bronze.

Send us your messages of congratulations to the county's heroes which we promise to pass on to them on their return to Notts.
