Brains have been bashed. Creative juices have flowed. And here are the fruits of your labours… three slogans we would be proud to stick in our car windows. Your suggestionsI've been asking for help with a campaign to shout about our great city of Nottingham. We're going to make thousands of stickers to put in the back of our cars, so wherever we go, people get the message – Nottingham's Fab! We've had enough of people from outside the city putting it down, describing it as the second worst place to live in Britain (Channel 4). Others link the word "Nottingham" with guns, crime and drugs according to researchers. It’s got to stop! Nottingham's fabWe know it's a vibrant, cultured, friendly place to live. We know we have top restaurants, shops and bars. We know we have fantastic old buildings, history and tradition. So let's boast about it! Early in 2007 Nottingham came in the top five of prosperous cities, based on health, exercise and activity. We host a world famous football club, and an internationally revered cricket ground. And don't forget that Robin Hood bloke. He's quite famous too. You chooseSo which slogan is the best? (The final design may be slightly different.) Your votes will be combined with a radio phone vote and a winner will be chosen. We hope you'll stick it up with pride. Do you like 'Love Nottingham' (which is shortened version of a suggestion by Nicola Poultney from Nottingham who believes we need to keep our slogan simple)? Do you like 'Nottingham: Naughty but nice' (a suggestion from Harry the Nottinghamshire taxi driver). Do you like 'No1tingham' (suggested by Pete Robinson from Bingham who chose the slogan as he believes Nottingham really is No.1)?
