Congestion charges: How much would you pay?

Our informal BBC poll aims to find out how much motorists are willing to pay per mile to travel on our busy roads - if anything!

As part of our week-long series on transport issues in the East Midlands, we are asking you to vote in our Congestion poll.

How much would you be willing to pay per mile to travel in peak times - if it was decided to go down that route?

Congestion charges are already in place in London and Durham.

Do we need a system in Nottingham to ease congestion?

And how much would you be willing to pay if the authorities introduced a charge?

You can vote in our poll - located on the right hand side of this page - and then check the results to find out what other people think.

Also, join in the debate on our message boards.

And don't forget you can watch our big congestion debate on the BBC East Midlands Today website on Thursday, 11 January 2007.
