Some of the most famous sportsmen and women attended the Laureus World Sport Awards on Monday, which recognises the greatest athletes on the planet.
The awards were held in Madrid - the capital of Spain - at a glittering ceremony honouring different athletes for their successes over the past year.
Among the big stars and winners on the night were F1 driver Lando Norris, World No. 1 women's tennis player Aryna Sabalenka and World No. 2 men's tennis player Carlos Alcaraz.
18-year-old Spanish football superstar Lamine Yamal and French football team Paris Saint Germain also took home big awards.

US Open tennis champion Aryna Sabalenka won the Sportswoman of the Year award
Aryna Sabalenka won the Sportswoman of the Year award for reaching three Grand Slam finals and winning her fourth career Grand Slam victory.
She also reached the final at the French and Australian Opens.
Lando Norris, 26, won his first Formula One drivers' championship title and has been crowned with the Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year Award for his talent and hard work.

Carlos Alcaraz was named Laureus World Sportsman of the Year after he regained the World No. 1 spot and won two Grand Slam titles at the French and US Opens.

Alcaraz ended the year with a 71-9 win-loss record and the World No.1 ranking
Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy won the Comeback of the Year award and became only the sixth man in history to complete golf's career Grand Slam (Masters, Open Championship, US Open, US PGA Championship).
He won The Masters in April; his first Major win since the 2014 Open Championship.

It's been a big year for French football team Paris Saint Germain.
They won the Champions League and the French League in 2025, under the guidance of coach Luis Enrique, and scooped Team of the Year at the awards.
