August '69 part 2

Part 2 of our series looking back at the events of August 1969, which kick-started forty years of political conflict.

That month saw an explosion of sectarian conflict in Belfast and Derry. This evening we focus on one particular Belfast street which became synonymous with the Troubles. 

Conor Macauley has met some of the people who were caught up in the nightmare that was Bombay Street.
