Soldiers making their way throught the mud

The Soldier and the Stone part 4

92 years ago today Robert Kelly Pollin was getting ready to go into battle, and not just any battle but a massive Allied offensive which was to cost half a million lives, including his own.

The young lieutenant was just 20 years old, yet he had been given the weighty task of leading his men into the fray.

In the fourth part of this series, BBC Newsline's Julie McCullough retraces Robert's last known movements and tries to discover what happened to his body.
