Teens charged over racism protest

Two teenagers have appeared before a youth court in Belfast in connection with events surrounding the intimidation of Romanians in the south of the city.

They both face a charge of provocation likely to cause a breach of the peace against an anti-racism rally which took place on Belfast's Lisburn Road last week.

The second teenager also faces a further charge of intimidation against occupants of a house on Belgravia Avenue.

Neither can be identified because of their age.

David Maxwell was in court.
