Ireland's first sextuplets

A woman has given birth to six babies in the Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital in Belfast.

The birth of sextuplets is an extremely rare event anywhere in the world.

Such a delivery only happens once in every 4.5 million pregnancies.

The babies were conceived naturally, without the aid of IVF.

They were born 14 weeks early and weigh between 1lb 7oz and 2lb 2oz.

Conor Macauley reports from the Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital.
