Hijacking ordeal

A delivery driver has described his ordeal at the hands of hijackers as "unbelievably frightening''.

The incident happened during disturbances in Belfast on Monday.

At first he thought the men were joking, but he soon became terrified when they dropped a package into his van and threatened to shoot him unless he drove to the bridge at Finaghy Road North.

The driver did not want to be identified, but spoke to our reporter Natasha Sayee.
