That's a question that a Ballymena woman is asking after her mother was left unwashed in the home she's living in. And she's had to make not one but two formal complaints to the Camphill nursing home in Ballymena. Tara Mills reports. Help playing audio/video Last August we heard from two care assistants about the shocking standards they have seen in some local nursing homes. The two women alleged nurses frequently go to sleep on duty, that older people are left sitting in soiled incontinence pads and that infections are easily spread by poor hygiene and shortages of basic equipment. Because they'd lose their jobs if their identities were revealed, we have disguised who these care workers are. You may find some of what they have to say upsetting.
