Dublin Protest

The economic news out of the Republic goes from bad to worse. We learn today that the Health Service has a one billion euro deficit.

At the weekend around a hundred thousand people took to the streets in Dublin in protest at the government's handling of the economy.

Brendan Keenan, who writes on economics for the Irish Independent newspaper, spoke to Noel Thompson about the current situation.
