Tall Ships in 1991

Tall Ships return

It's been 18 years since they last sailed up Belfast Lough, but the Tall Ships are coming back.

The flotilla will arrive in August as the main attraction of a major maritime festival.

The event is costing £3m and there are high hopes that it will attract thousands of visitors. Yvette Shapiro reports.

We had a dig around in our archives and found some old stories that ran on BBC Northern Ireland at that time on Inside Ulster (those were the days before BBC Newsline).
